Keith Ansellll started Foreign Parts Positively ( also known as FPP ) in the fall of 1969 at Aloha, Oregon. FPP has been in existence since that time; building the present facility in 2001. Keith has training and experience on most British cars from 1936 to 1980. He has also built many successful SCCA race cars from H Production 948 AH Sprites to MGBs.

Foreign Parts Positively offers the following to our customers:

  • Parts:
New, used, rebuilt, and upgrade kits.  We are a distributor or dealer for most British car suppliers. We manufacture upgrade kits and offer upgraded or concours quality engines and gearboxes.  Read more about our parts here: About FPP
  • Service:
Our 2,400 square foot shop was built specifically for service and restoration with full machine shop services, specialized tools, and equipment.
  • Restoration:
Frame off or stripped tubs of complete cars or individual components. NOS parts are used when available otherwise we rebuild your components or replace them with new parts when available.
  • Rebuilding:
MGB rebuilt engines in stock. We can rebuild your engine or we can have an exchange engine available. Gearboxes and all other components rebuilt. Gauges rebuilt or adapted for solid state ignitions and negative ground.
  • Performance:
We are involved with historic racing and can build any tune of street performance you may require. We do all head preparation in house. Cams, of differing specification, in stock for A and B series BMC motors. All other cams available.
  • Competition:
From engines and gearboxes to suspensions components – we can build a complete car to meet required specification.

Foreign Parts Positively is unique in that we encourage our customers to be in our shop as their car is created or restored. Customers are welcome to participate in the work being done after signing a release of liability. Many customers do the majority of the work on their own cars in the shop. Keith and the crew are always available to answer questions and assist.

Our shop was built for the sole purpose of being a centre for MG, Austin Healey, Triumph and ALL other British cars.
